Two paths lead to the top of the feudal motte, one along the holm oak hedge, the other through the beech tunnel.

At the end of the tunnel used to be found the very first wooden construction of the fortress.

The panoramic view extends over the Pays du Saosnois and, on the horizon, over the forests of the Normandie-Maine national park..

On the motte it is possible to admire an orchard of fruit trees from all around the world.
